Prof Franklin Allen, world-leading expert in financial economics and Executive Director of the Brevan Howard Centre for Financial Analysis, shared his insights on the upcoming developments and challenges posed by current financial systems and changing international influences, reflecting on China’s rapidly-approaching position as the world’s largest economy.

This growth follows the trajectory of places like South Korea and Taiwan where GDP has increased in the 60 years since 1950 to Western European levels. The key question for many is: how long can this go on for?
