Success beckons to members of ELITE

Britain is a great place to start a business but scaling it up can present a collection of challenges. As companies grow, resources to support management teams in their journeys can be poorly sign posted and difficult to access.

ELITE is a growth initiative led by the London Stock Exchange and delivered in partnership with Imperial College Business School. It is ideally placed at the heart of the financial ecosystem to offer CEOs and CFOs a unique blend of support and prepare them for their next stage of growth and investment.

ELITE is already providing support to over 8,700 jobs within 60 companies across the UK – with aggregate revenues of over £1bn.

The companies all benefit from the 18 month programme, which blends educational modules and workshops, access to investors, business mentoring and advice from top industry experts. The programme equips management teams with the necessary skills and networks to drive their business to sustainable success.

The opportunity to utilise the experience and learnings of seasoned executives, investors and industry experts is invaluable and ELITE’s participants agree:

“Through the programme we have gained expertise and confidence, allowing us to continue to place technology at the heart of business and aspire to build a world class operation”

Anthony Fletcher, CEO of graze.com

ELITE is ‘capital source neutral’ and aims to prepare companies for all exit types. The programme’s vast network of investors and international advisers gives companies access to a diversified capital pool including Debt Products, Venture Capital and Private Equity funds as well as the IPO.

ELITE companies, since joining, have collectively raised over £200m in private equity deals and grant funding. What’s more, in that time there have been over 40 Mergers and Acquisitions or Joint Venture deals, including Naked Wines’ merger with AIM-listed Majestic Wines and News Corp’s acquisition of Unruly.
